In 1984, Porsche released an updated version of the 911 model, known as the Carrera. It featured a new 231bhp 3.2-litre engine with advanced Bosch Motoronic digital engine management, providing more power and making it the most successful 911 yet. Many of its major components were also brought in from the previously released SC model.

This Carrera cabriolet has had some recent mechanical work caried out as well as some light interior improvements. This is the period correct specification for this particular 911.
