The term "Outlaw" was made popular by Rod Emory, whose family atelier began modifying these cars in the 1980s. However, the concept originated even earlier. This particular car was originally a non-numbers matching Porsche 356 B T5, in Silver with Red interior, but an expert team converted it to its current outlaw build. Over the years, the car underwent an extensive list of modifications, from mechanical to cosmetic, resulting in a truly exceptional drivers' car. This passion project is a tribute to a late and esteemed client and dear friend to those in the automotive space in Cape Town. Known as the "Hofmann Special," it exemplifies the utmost dedication to quality and craftsmanship. A thorough breakdown of the build can be found at the end.
