Description

Aston Martin develops and tests all of its road cars extensively on the legendary 14‑mile Nordschleife. Long before reaching showrooms, prototype V8 Vantages had already completed hundreds of laps. To showcase the model’s pedigree, Aston Martin entered a near‑production V8 Vantage in the 2006 Nürburgring 24 Rennen, the gruelling annual 24‑hour race held on the Nordschleife.

Although 240 Roadsters were originally planned, Aston Martin Heritage Trust registrar Tim Cottingham notes that only 195 are believed to have been built—making this one of the final examples assembled.
