2007 Porsche 997.1 Carrera - 81 500kms

In 2005, Porsche introduced the 997.1 with two Carrera options: the base and the S. The base Carrera kept the 3.6L 6-cylinder engine from the 996, producing 321 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. On paper, the base model Carrera may seem like a re-bodied 911 996. However, the 997 model corrected the "ugly" elements of the 996 exteriors, bringing back the iconic circular headlights from the coveted 993 body style. Though over 17 years old, this design remains timeless. The newer 991 and 992 models may not look significantly different from the 997, especially to untrained eyes.
