At the time, the FZR1000 was widely recognized as the premier production sports motorcycle, and its 1989 iteration, the FZR1000R, boasted an engine output of over 140 hp and unmatched handling. Overflowing with accolades from the motorcycle community, the FZR1000R was even deemed the "Bike of the Decade" by the esteemed publication Cycle World. Constantly refined over the years, this machine continued to garner praise well into the early 1990s.

This FZR Genesis goes hand in hand with the other FZR EXUP present for sale from the same collection. Husband and wife shared many enjoyable trips on these two bikes together. Not often is a Genesis and an EXUP seen together for sale, both these bikes have been owned for a lengthy period.
