In August 1973, the second generation 911 was introduced. The G-series derivative replaced the outgoing F-series for the 1974 model year.

This is an early G Series 911 S

The new 911 received a significant visual update and all three production models were equipped with 2.7-liter fuel-injected engines. The base 911 had 150 horsepower, the 911 S had 175 horsepower.
