Description
The Harley-Davidson SS was a family of compact motorcycles that were introduced in 1969. The SS was one of many Harleys offered at the time which were largely re-badged versions of Aermacchi motorcycles but offered for the US market. These bikes were created to give Harley compact, simple bike offerings at the time when many Japanese motorcycles were entering the US market with significant success. Over the course of production, variants included the SS-125, SS-175, SS-250, and SS-350. Production of the Harley-Davidson SS ended in 1977.
This is a project bike that was part of the collection, it was found in a barn a few years ago and has been worked on slowly over the years, however it needs to be completed and registered. Not often seen for sale.
