1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Split Window
1963 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray Split Window
Description
Of all Corvettes, The1963 Split Window ranks as one of history's all-time favourites, it was also the first time a Corvette would be offered in coupe form, this design was influenced by Mitchell's fascination with marine life and his prominent role in the Chevrolet styling studio. Creatures such as the stingray and mako shark inspired many aspects of his designs, incorporating anatomical features like gills, wings, tails, and spines. In the 1963 split-window Corvette, the crease of the tumblehome took on a spine-like appearance, splitting the back glass into two distinct halves and extending seamlessly from the roof to the rear deck.
This vehicle has had a long-term ownership and is numbers matching and it has the correct wheels to replace these aftermarket 'American racing style' wheels.
